Autograph letter signed from Charles II, to his sister Henriette, Whitehall, 1660 August 27.

Letter to his sister in the year of his restoration to the throne, written in French. Charles apologizes for being such a poor correspondent, citing increasing pressures preventing him to write as often as he would like. He begs her not to measure their friendship by the number of letters she has received.
